Jordi used to explain how he was puzzled that, despite being a pacifist, had wound up drawing hundreds of covers for the warlike publications of the Toray/Gerfault editorial. Despite the lack of reference material in the '50s, making it challenging to draw to the detail the basic elements of the covers (outfit, weaponry, tanks, planes, medals...) wit time he managed to make a giant archive of documents about WW2, very remarkable, to the point of making mockups to enhance his understanding of the different elements he was asked to draw.
